Granzow Construction and Contracting is a full service construction company, covering all facets of the project from start to finish. “Our team can do it all. From pouring concrete foundations and framing, to roofing, siding, doors and windows,” Granzow says. “We specialize in metal roofing and pole barns, but also have a talent for interior design and renovation. We do a lot of additions as well as garages, barns and decks.” “What sets us apart from other contractors is our customer service and quality workmanship. We are not set in our ways and that helps to achieve what the customer really wants.” Granzow, as the owner, is present on all job sites and ensures that the customer’s wants and needs are realized.
Granzow provides personalized service. I make sure that we make their dreams a reality,” Granzow says. More recently he completed construction on an antique store next door to his other family business, Chop’s Shop Pizzeria.
Growing up in Gasport, Granzow was surrounded by family members in the construction industry.
He started by working in concrete and put himself through college at the University of Buffalo as a Carpenter and a morning sorter at UPS. After graduating from UB with a Business/Accounting degree, Granzow was anxious to apply his business background to an industry he grew to love, construction. While working at Praxair, he was trained in pipe joining and cryogenics. After a few years there, he finally decided to venture out on his own.
“My aspirations have always been to be an active member of the community and a proud business owner in Gasport.” Granzow is active with the Royalton 4th of July Celebration and donates what he can to area schools and local fundraisers.
He lives in Gasport with his wife April and their three children, Cameron, Gianna and Karissa. “I am glad that I have stayed here to raise my family in this beautiful part of Western New York.
